Jon "JP" Petronzio is a music educator and live musician with years of experience and 2,500+ stage appearances. Personal one-on-one lessons in his studio are in high demand—he needed advice on evolving his business to share his expertise with his growing audience. JP completed Enginate's Blueprinting Discovery Process and together we developed a new business model, involving limited in-person lessons while adding group coaching and on-demand music education courses.
The first step toward making this new business model a reality, was our design, development, and launch of his first online course: "Make Music Now"
Our first step with JP was strategic — identifying the goals and expectations with changing his business model. What were his expectations? Were they realistic? Would the numbers make sense?
Once we gained clarity there, we defined his "product ladder" (i.e. what people could purchase from him), and decided that his on-demand courses would be the first step in moving forward. Once he produced his first course, we tested it with a select group of his students for initial feedback. After a few adjustments we were ready to share this with his wider audience. Enginate designed and developed a promotion/sales page along with "Make Music Now".
The promotion/sales page includes secure checkout forms, discount codes, purchase notifications via email and text for JP, and of course the ability for his new customers to access the course in a secure manner. As we continue to work together, we'll grow this site to be more expansive, offering additional courses and group coaching opportunities for his audience.
